Brass Quintet / Quintette de Cuivres

Ad Libitum Brass is a dynamic group of professional classical musicians based in Toulon, France.

Not only do they perform the standard brass quintet literature but they have an extensive library of jazz and popular arrangements. They are actively contributing to the repertoire of this genre by commissioning new compositions and arrangements from composers in the US and France.

As the official quintet of the Toulon Opera, Ad Libitum performs regularly in and around the Toulon area; with appearances at hospitals, cultural events, concerts and other municipal events.

They collaborated and performed with the celebrated DJ Dawad for the Festival of Electronic Music in Toulon and participated in the Concert Series Partnership of Domaine de la Croix and the Toulon Opera in July 2014.

Currently developing their first album, the musicians are hard at work selecting and preparing an original project that will include a crossover of Classical, Jazz and Popular music.
